Engine 1 is our newest piece of fire apparatus. Engine 1 is a 2006 E-One Typhoon. It comes with a 1500 Gallon Per Minute Hale pump, 500 gallons of water with a CAFS (Compressed Air Foam System). Engine 1 is powered by a Cummings 6 cyl. engine, Allison Automatic transmission. The cab has seating for 5 firefighters. Engine 1 is the first due Engine in the Beach District to all fire calls as well as automatic response to the Village Fire District. This truck replaced an aging 1980 Ford C8000. The old Engine 1 was purchased by Ogunquit Fire Dept.
