Engine 5 is a 2003 E-One on a Peterbilt 357-111 chassis. Engine 5 is powered by a Caterpillar C12 6 cyl motor and an Allison Automatic transmission. It pumps with a 1500 Gallon Per Minute Waterous pump and carries 2500 gallons of Water and 30 gallons of foam. Engine 5 responds to all building fires outside of the hydranted areas of the Town of York. It can quickly dump its entire load of water into a portable 3000 gallon folding tank with it's three 10" dumps all electrically operated from inside the cab. Also on Engine 5 is a 5000 watt Honda generator and a hydraulic ladder rack.
